Meet Mindy Wortmann


 

Mindy K. Wortmann, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, PMGT-BC


Mindy is board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with secondary board certification in Pain Management Nursing with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Her experience in nursing and interventional pain management extend beyond a decade and has been a leader and expert in her field of study and practice. She has assisted in the treatment of thousands of patients with chronic, complex, and challenging pain conditions. Her experience is unparalleled across the St. Louis Region and the State of Missouri.
As a native to the St. Louis region, she received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). She is certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and has been a nurse since 2006. She has over 10 years of experience working in pain management and has a professional drive to build strong relationships with patients and their families while acting as a patient advocate. Mindy works with a multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best possible outcomes, restore quality of life, and help manage all types of pain. Her goals are focused on avoiding surgery if possible and improving patient’s ability to tolerate everyday activity with less pain. She has special interests in a broad spectrum of complex pain disorders including nerve pain, cancer related pain, and joint related pain from degeneration and arthritis.

Mindy holds membership with the American Society of Pain Management Nurses as well as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
